Floaro for eBay — Listing Health
Extension Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This notice explains data handling by the Floaro for eBay — Listing Health Chrome extension, operated by Floaro. It supplements the Floaro Privacy Policy. This extension helps you assess the quality of an eBay listing.
Public listing analysis
On supported eBay listing pages, the extension reads the eBay item identifier, listing title, seller description HTML, image count, item specifics, category identifier and name, condition and price. It also reads bounded template-layout information, including layout signals, broken-image counts and desktop or mobile overflow indicators. Seller descriptions may contain publicly displayed names, contact details or links.
These details are sent over HTTPS to dashboard.floaro.com to calculate a listing-health score and suggestions. The item identifier and title identify the listing you are viewing. This feature works without signing in. Its scoring request omits authentication credentials and does not import a product, query saved products or modify your listing.
Optional saved Floaro score
The extension separately requests the saved score for the current eBay item. If you already have a Floaro session, your browser may send existing Floaro authentication cookies to dashboard.floaro.com with this request. Floaro uses that session to check your workspace, team and marketplace-account permissions. An accessible saved response includes product and marketplace-account identifiers, scores and suggestions. The extension does not ask for or store your Floaro password or eBay API token. Public-page scoring remains available when the saved score cannot be accessed.
Local preferences
Chrome local extension storage keeps whether the analyzer is enabled, whether the panel opens automatically and whether it is minimized. These preferences help remember your display choices. The extension does not maintain a list of your browsing history, track unrelated websites, record keystrokes or add advertising analytics.
Service and security records
HTTPS requests necessarily expose network information such as your IP address to Floaro's servers and infrastructure providers. Operational request and error logs may include IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and technical diagnostics, depending on the service configuration. These records support security, rate limiting, troubleshooting and reliable scoring. The extension does not request GPS access or use IP addresses to provide a location-tracking feature.
Use, disclosure and limited use
Floaro uses extension data to provide, maintain and secure listing analysis and authorized saved-score access. Necessary hosting and infrastructure providers process requests to deliver those services. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to investigate abuse or protect security. Humans may access extension data only with your consent for specific support, for security or legal requirements, or as aggregated and anonymized data for internal operations.
Floaro for eBay's use and transfer of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Extension data is not sold, used for personalized advertising, transferred for unrelated purposes, or used to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
Storage, retention and your choices
The public analyzer calculates a score without saving or importing a Floaro product. Scoring responses request no browser caching. Existing Floaro product records remain subject to the main Floaro Privacy Policy. Operational records are retained only as necessary for service operation, security, legal obligations and dispute resolution under that policy; this notice does not promise a fixed log-retention period.
You can disable analysis in the extension popup or remove the extension to stop its listing requests. Signing out of Floaro removes access to saved scores once the session ends. Uninstalling removes the extension's local preferences, subject to Chrome's storage behavior. For questions or requests concerning access, correction or deletion, contact info@floaro.com or use the Floaro contact page.
Dashboard actions and changes
The extension opens Floaro when you choose to optimize a listing; dashboard accounts, billing and marketplace integrations are governed by the main Floaro policies. The extension itself does not publish or change eBay listings. We will update this notice when extension data handling changes.
